MADE

Dimensions: 48” x 12” inches
Medium: Clothing tags on canvas

"MADE" is a personal and evocative exploration of our disconnection from the origins of the products we use daily. This piece is a mosaic of clothing tags, meticulously removed from garments purchased and found in the closets of my family members. Each tag, carefully arranged and applied to the canvas, represents a fragment of the larger narrative of global production and consumption.

Through "MADE," I aim to encourage viewers to reflect on the journey of these products—from their creation in often unseen and unglamorous factories to their presence in our stores and closets. This artwork is an invitation to consider the unseen labor, the diverse origins, and the complex supply chains that bring these items into our lives. By highlighting this often-overlooked aspect of our daily consumption, I hope to foster a deeper appreciation and awareness of the true cost and story behind the goods we take for granted.
